Meet Wendy

Wendy Bower joined the firm in October 2016 as an Owner and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Consultant. She is widely recognized for her high energy, educational and entertaining training style.

Her primary focus is on the development and delivery of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) workshops. She delivers: Introduction to MBTI, Advanced MBTI programs for Leaders, Team Development programs for intact work groups; and specialized workshops focused on stress, parenting, couples, and children. Wendy also provides one-on-one coaching to help her clients gain an even deeper understanding of Type and its impact on their leadership and communication style. Additionally, she leads workshops on Taking the Fear out of Public Speaking, Positive Communication, Assertiveness, Forgiveness, and What Dogs Teach Us About Leadership and Life.

Prior to joining the Brickpath Group, Wendy was the founder and President of Bower Communication Consulting LLC, a successful practice that she built over 15 years. In her consulting, she provided a variety of communication workshops and skills training for businesses and non-profit organizations. Wendy used her MBTI and communication expertise to assist business professionals, students, teachers, clergy and non-profit leaders improve their communication and interpersonal interaction.

Additionally, Wendy has been a college professor for over 27 years, teaching Organizational Communication, Interpersonal Communication, and Public Speaking. The majority of her teaching was with Baldwin-Wallace University and Kent State University. She has also taught at Lakeland Community College and Cuyahoga Community College. During her time at Baldwin-Wallace she also created and delivered a semester-long Special Topics MBTI Course and coached theater students on MBTI to assist in character development for school productions.

Prior to her teaching and consulting career, she spent five years in outside sales.

Wendy is a Qualified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® facilitator, received her M.A. in Communication from Kent State University and a B.S. in Communication from Ohio University.

Wendy is happily married to Ron, the proud parent of two young men and a precious senior dog. When not busy working, she is an active volunteer and advocate for animal rights, an avid reader, enjoys traveling and being outdoors, and plays in a local Skeeball league.
